W3schools is the source, and I think it's the most straightforward and easy to navigate.

w3schools is okay, but they don't talk much about browser compatibility or what the things actually do beyond a small mention. I usually google each one as I need it for more information, but w3schools is good for a quick reference (and they're at the top of google search results most of the time).

Well, most of the time you have to google general things you're doing to see browser computability. I don't know of any resources that give you complete browser compatibility otherwise.

w3schools is generally not that accurate and really not very useful for anything other than a refresh on how to use certain tags that you haven't used in a while.

I learned from looking at the source of sites, it's the fastest way to learn a technique.
