Let's say I have a right triangle:

d and Θ are variables, x is dependent on these variables. α can, of course, be derived by 90 - Θ. Solve for x using only[/i] sine, cosine, or arctangent.

I believe it's the opposite of tangent (tan^-1 <angle> ).

Neither could I. Which is why I was an evil child when I took my trig exam last year and plugged the identities into my calculator.

Nah. I made a new program, but instead of actually WRITING a program, I used it as a notepad type thing. To view it, I just went and told the calculator to edit the aforementioned program.

I write all my programs fully in my caccluator. go,d i spent a huge amount of time on that thing. i have almost every equation from either chemistry, physics, or pre-calc that i used all year. One damned smart calculator at this point [http://forums.massassi.net/html/tongue.gif]
