Well I can but this is starting to make me mad.

I am trying to type something in persian script for the end result of using it in a drawing program. But no matter what program I type in, it shows up as those heiroglyphic boxes that computers use when they don't know the font, or it switched back to the default font.

I don't even know enough of what the problem is to google for a solution.

You need to download a language pack for what ever word processing program you're using.

aren't those little boxes used when it can't find the right font?
