Today at school while still working in the computer lab in the graphic tech department, I overhead an interesting conversation going on among the members of the "Graphix Club", who were discussing the holiday event coming up this november 30th. They were talking about how the name for the event for the kids was changed from "Frosty's Blizzard Pizza Party" to "Reindeer Round-Up Pizza Party". You'd think that a snowman would be PC enough to avoid references to Christmas and Santa Claus (Yes, Santa Claus isn't considered PC anymore, outrageous I know) but they changed it from Frosty to Reindeers because of a ridiculous complaint the holiday committee received.

Can you guess what the complaint was?

WHAT KIND OF STUPID ******* WOULD COMPLAIN ABOUT SOMETHING AS ****ING STUPID LIKE THAT??? FROSTY IS A ****ING SNOWMAN FOR PETE'S SAKE!

Oh lord, this PC crap is getting out of hand now. To think that the color of snow would be linked to racism is ****ing ludicrous. God have mercy on those stupid enough to be offended by something like that!

Not only that, the event is using a western theme instead of a winter wonderland. Instead of lighting the "Holiday tree" they're lighting TUMBLEWEEDS! Yes, you read that right, ****ING TUMBLEWEEDS!!!

Excuse me for now, I'm gonna grab some Aspirin. My head is starting to hurt and I think I'm catching a bad case of /facepalm from all this stupidity.

Doesn't the reindeer directly imply Christmas whereas a snowman of course does not really represent anything other than winter? This is obvious but it seems strange. I guess they'd rather avoid a race problem than an intolerance for secular symbols for religious holidays?
