Christmas Wish List
2007-11-20, 8:16 PM #1
Pretty simple. Post what you want for Christmas. Keep it realistic though.

I want:

* A new desktop
* A new car
* Mass Effect
* Halo 3 (no I havnt played it yet .()
* Beast Wars complete series collection :)

EDIT: ****ed up on the title :argh:

Games I want:
Orange Box
Assassin's Creed
CoD 4
Mario Galaxy
(might buy any or all of those before Christmas, haven't decided)

Misc things that I wouldn't mind getting:
-Various pieces of furniture (a new desk, coffee table, entertainment unit, etc)
-new cell phone

Things I'd like but won't get:
-a decent (32-37") LCD TV
-Macbook

My best friend already got me Halo 3, and my girlfriend is getting me a trip to Jamaica for Christmas + my birthday (January 10th). I'll probably just ask my parents for money, get money from my grandparents, and various odds and ends from others (sister, god parents, girlfriend's parents, etc). Depending on how much money I get and how much of my own I have to kick in I'll probably get either the TV or macbook. My current laptop is pretty crappy so that should take priority, but I doubt I'll have enough.

Oh, and I fixed the title.

Just a Macbook Pro

Figure if I only ask for one thing it'll be a pretty big hint >_>

i actually dont know what i want for christmas. anything i want is out of everyone's price range. and i doubt they would pool their resources for me.
My girlfriend paid a lot of money for that tv; I want to watch ALL OF IT. - JM

I have no idea what I want. Just like last year. Then the second the season is over, or it's too late for gifts, I know exactly what I wanted. Funny how that is.
My blawgh.

Pretty much the situation I'm in. Ask if they'll give you money, or a gift card for the place you want to buy whatever the item is at.

I don't really need anything..I'm not good at coming up with (affordable) lists.
woot!

Christmas is incredibly lame in this respect. "Here is a list of crap I want you to buy me because it's the end of the year"

Basically all I want is a nice dinner with my family.

My mum and dad have paid for Izzy and I to have Sky TV which is pretty nice of them. In terms of stuff I'd like, all that comes to mind is a few CDs I'd quite like. I don't really want anything apart from a week sitting on my backside drinking beer with my family :)

I'm being uncharacteristically practical this year, I'm just asking for a new set of tires for my car ( I really don't want to be driving around on tires that are this close to going bald this winter)

I made a list this year, but I don't know if I'll ask my wife for anything on it. Our money situation is the tightest it has ever been right now. My list was all entertainment: older games, music, and DVDs.

I'm going to buy some good rims off of my coworker. From there, I'm going to start..amplifying my 2006 Chevy Cobalt.

Meager unthought list:
  • Kind of wanting a new laptop
  • 8800GT
  • Music lessons for violin or viola da gamba or keyboard
  • Stuff to add some horsepower to my Cobalt.
Code to the left of him, code to the right of him, code in front of him compil'd and thundered. Programm'd at with shot and $SHELL. Boldly he typed and well. Into the jaws of C. Into the mouth of PERL. Debug'd the 0x258.

Yeah I know some of those aren't out yet. It's a running list. All my PC games are older because I already have all the newer ones I want. There are a couple Steam games but I'd rather get them myself over Steam.

And yes I am aware all my requests are video game related. My mom is just ecstatic I even asked for a book this year.

I don't really need anything.

I asked for a few books but my family will be donating funds to the multiple trips I'll be taking in 2008.
