So, I'm in class right now with my delinquent 13-14 year olds, and they are talking about the field trip they are taking on Friday.

One of them says "Can we bring our iPods? It's a 1 1/2 hour bus ride."

Another kid says quietly "Your mom is a 1 1/2 hour bus ride."

I busted out laughing. I couldn't help it. It's really hard to discipline while I'm laughing...

Did the whole class start laughing, or just you? The only time i ever did something like that was when the class was talking about movies and to interject the teacher said "how bout the movie lets get our work done" and i said best porno ever loudly and got suspended. This was like 3 years ago but still. He admited it was funny, he just wrote me up anaways. SO write the kid up, but respect him cuz hes awesome.

My friends and I end up using your mom jokes all the time. It just happens. Any time someone says something that works well as a your mom joke its immediately said. Quickly followed by OHHHHHHHH.
