The first game is one of the best games of all time. The second game.. Like Echoman said. I refuse to acknowledge it. Much like Johnny Pneumonic.

The second game was not totally bad, but it just wasn't a Deus Ex game.

As for this one, well, for one they need to bring back the rocking electrobeats DX1 had instead of the mumbling creeks and croinks IW had. And, well, not ruin the game altogether.

Oh well.

I hope it gets released on the 360 without being dumbed down too much. That way I can play it. And then I will spray bodily fluids everywhere if it's even half as good as the original.

Oh, and it must discount the whole second game as any sort of non-canon bilge like a dream or something, because I never played it.

I'm not going to say much as DX3 is up in the air, but I don't acknowledge the existence of DX2. Even the cover of the game box (new antagonist pointing the gun at you like some sort of trendy pop star) looked so uber lame as opposed to DX1 with light shining on JC looking upwards as helicopters fly in the background city.

I've only played the one that doesn't exist. Still haven't come across a copy of the original Deus Ex.

The original is available for less than $10 on Steam if you don't mind not having the disk.

The first one was far superior, and I replayed it a lot more, but Invisible War was pretty good in its own right. I'd buy a Deus Ex 3.

I think you're thinking of System Shock 2. But it wasn't. People just thought it was.

That said, it's a fabulous game anyway if you can find it.
