The best chips ever are Utz North Carolina Bar-B-Que, but they're almost impossible to find now.

sour cream & onion and BBQ, and I like Miss Vickie's jalapeno chips. And Nacho Cheese and Cool Ranch Doritos.

Sour cream & onion. Although I can't eat them because they always contain lactose, and I've a pesky intolerance. It must be 8 years or something since I last time bought any, so all I have are fond memories...

Tortilla chips + salsa

I'm sad that's not on your poll.
2007-11-30, 12:15 AM #14
Yeah, Vinny wins.

I sometimes dip potato chips in salsa if I lack tortilla chips.

+1

I voted original and lightly salted. I've never enjoyed any of the other flavors. Especially the vinegar stuff. Blech.

As snack foods go, I tend to prefer things like Doritos, pretzels, popcorn, etc. Some kinds of chips, like the thicker potato ships, are really good though.

you people can't speak english

chips are what you have with salt, vinegar and KETCHUP

in terms of crisps though, I'm a cheese and onion kinda girl generally, but now Vinny's given me a craving for salsa

Do you guys have Miss Vickie's in the US?

If not, and you get a chance to try them, do so. They kick ***. Especially Sea Salt & Malt vinegar. Any salt and vinegar fan would think they've died and gone to heaven.

Miss Vickie's Jalapeno is a party in my mouth.

Salt & Vinegar for the win

Even though the colours make no sense to me. There are so many different brands of crisps / chips, flavours and varieties. I guess we're just talking regular plain old chips / crisps here.

Seeing as how potato chips were invented in America and also first mass-produced in America I'd say that YOU cannot speak English.

They don't count since pringles aren't "potato chips". They're formed with a dough and baked.

All I really need are 'taters and boil 'em, mash 'em, and stick em in a stew. That should be fine enough.

They're called chips because they're chipped potatoes.

Dough is not chipped anything.
