Okay short and sweet, is there any way to get it OTHER than signing up for Steam (for which I have absolutely NO use, not being in posession of any Half Life titles)?

I'm not sure, but you may need to own HL (Or a valid CD key at least) to download Codename Gordon anyway..

Yes, there is. I found it at some site in an exe format. Unfortunately, I don't recall *where* exactly it was, sorry.

That's not true. I was able to download Codename Gordan through Steam I don't even have a valid CD-Key. All you have to have is just have a Steam account (which doesn't require a CD-Key) and you can get the game through that.

I'm playing it now, but it's got this annoying thing like that game Madness with the whole mouse aim thingee - oh well, guess I'll get used to it somehow! It's good otherwise, really. Loved the first boss.
