Yep, it's time to do it again! Through the month of December the Massassi main logo will be replaced with holiday logos submitted by you all, the Massassi crew.

This year, however, we have a few changes that I want to make you all aware of:

1. Entries must be either posted here OR emailed to me at webmaster@sorrowind.net (Preferably posted here. Send me your username if you email me so I can give you credit!)

2. The old holiday index page will be replaced by a new, cleaner, easier to manage page. (If I have time I'll still get the old images accessible though)

3. For every accepted holiday logo submitted before Dec 20th, I will donate $1 to Child's Play Charity. (Unless we get SA'ed or /.'ed. I'm not rich) Hopefully that'll put a fire in yer pants and get some quality stuff up there this year. Evad and SAJN have also offered to match my donation, so that means $3 for every accepted submission!

4. Logos must still meet the 384x154 size restriction (size of the current logo) and must be JPG, GIF or PNG compressed (whichever is smallest please).

The other usual rules still apply:

1. Must contain some sort of holiday or festive theme
2. Must have "Massassi Temple" on the logo in some form
3. PG Rated
4. Must not be horrible on the eyes (doesn't have to be a work of art, but put more than 5 minutes into it). I'll try to tell you if it needs more work.
5. Star Wars themes get bonus points!
6. No animated GIFs.
7. Submit as many as you like, but remember, quality over quantity. And no duplicates.

Anyway, I don't have the script going yet, but I figure it'll take you all some time to get logos submitted anyway so don't hold back, get crackin'.

Would it be at all possible to display logos in place of the "Massassi Temple Discussion Forums" logo at the top left of each forum page? That'd be kind of cool for those of us who never see the main page.

I just did this for fun, but I wasn't really happy with the middle part. Edit it if you want. You can have full credit for the whole thing as well (who ever edits and makes a better version ).

So in other words you don't want it put up in that condition or what?

I'd like it to be put up, but if someone makes a better version of it give them full credit for it.
