Also, they mean American cider, which is unfiltered/unpasteurized apple juice, and not the mass-produced alcoholic cider of the UK.

SoCo + coke

Jager and Soco are meant for drinking straight. Jager, if mixed with anything, is meant to be mixed with red bull for bubblegum goodness. Soco tastes like caramel...why the hell would you want to mix caramel whiskey and coke?

PS, coke is bad, it gives you nosebleeds.

When drinking jager and soco, the reason for mixing them with coke is more for my own benefit. Jager is a delicious drink. I am 100% bonkers for it. But mixing it with coke is more to slow myself down from drinking too much of it too fast. Instead of shot after shot after shot, mixing it with coke allows me to sit and enjoy it slowly. Not that you couldn't do it alone, it's just easier.

It's amazing because while you can taste the alcohol as you're drinking it, there's no aftertaste.

Understandable then.

I still remember killing a pint of jager at home by myself on christmas eve. Getting knock-down drunk was my way of "celebrating"...in other words I was bored and wanted to get plastered.

Woke up (thankfully with no hangover) and opened all my presents.
