I liked how Peter getting his mind wiped and regaining it gave him complete control over the nuke ability. Nathan surprised me too, but you can bet Peter will go ape**** on the Company over this

I expected Adam and Maya to bite it, but I was wrong on both counts. Adam I knew they'd eliminate just because they're bringing Sylar back as the main villain, but I didn't think they'd do it in a way that would keep him alive. Nathan's just about the last person I'd have thought they'd kill.

People have to consciously thinking about it for him to "hear", he can't just pull random memories that are tucked away (not yet, at least)

Kind of a lacking finale for a lacking volume, still quite nice, though.

You're assuming asphyxiation won't kill him. There's been nothing to show that he can live without breathing.

Yeah, but you can't blame NBC. It's the stupid writer's strike.

And CM, good point, though I doubt the writers have even thought about that. And, i think it's quite likely that Adam will be dug up by someone (ie, The Company) and be a contender later.

You only listed Hiro four times. I personally just don't think that's enough.

I'm not sure of this, but the only other option that seems likely is the Haitian . Bob crossed my mind, but he doesn't seem the type to get his hands dirty.

Of course, this is assuming that the Company is even responsible, something I'm not really convinced of. Killing Nathan doesn't really put them in a better position because Peter has all the evidence Nathan had. So maybe it's someone who wants to see the Company brought down and knows this will ensure that Peter will stop at nothing to make that happen, whereas his Nathan might have been willing to compromise at some point.

P.S.: Eden McCain.

They could explain it away stupidly like they did Nathan getting better by saying "zomg we cloned adam zonoes, and adam clone killed nathan ZOMFG"

Nathan seriously should not have died. As to who killed him, well I hope it wasn't Noah, but the person walking away the end looked a lot like him from behind. I doubt Noah would have done it by choice, but with the prospect of the company going after Claire, he might just do it.

It was most likely the company that ordered the killing of Nathan however, the phone call at the end with Angela Petrelli looks as though it was to someone within the company and mentions that they have opened Pandora's Box by killing Nathan and what Peter will do as a result.
People of our generation should not be subjected to mornings.

The person who shot Nathan looked much younger than Noah. Plus, Noah and Bob were in California. Granted there is no indication of passage of time that would give Noah the time to get to Odessa to shoot Nathan, but I still don't think it was Noah. Probably a new character for Volume Three.

In the first season, wasn't one of Noah's first jobs of the season to kill Nathan ? I can't remember that far back. But if so, then maybe he did it to make good on his "protecting Claire" bit that was mentioned in an earlier post.

Of course, I don't know why I'm bothering to use spoiler tags since TWOTP clearly didn't and tells all...

I didn't either. Anyone who opens this thread should expect to read so-called spoilers.

And, I quite sure Noah never had a job to kill Nathan.

I didn't even mouse over the thread because I knew there'd be spoilers--until I saw the episode.

Honestly I think they need to bring isaac back to life, because he kicked ***. I also think that the storyline is evolving awesomely--they're putting in amazing twists that don't overly bore you or anything, and it's getting really interesting.

All I gotta say is kudos to the writers for making such a good series. Too bad it's probably on hold til next fall.

Yeah, Isaac is one of the Heroes I really miss. Apparently the writers miss him too because there's always more paintings being uncovered. :P

Yeah, I remember now - it was Nikki who was supposed to kill him. Glad she's gone. She was a dead weight to the show.
