...finished for Christmas! I am, as of three hours ago. Technically my lectures were finished on Thursday, but (typically) I left three pieces of coursework (due in later today) until the last week. I finished the last of them a couple of hours ago, and now I've got just under a month to relax before I need to start thinking about exams. Me and my flatmates are celebrating Christmas later today since we won't all be in Liverpool when the actual day rolls around, so I plan to hand in my work just after midday and engage in an afternoon + evening + night of revelry before remembering that I've offered to work the entire of the next two weeks since I'll be out of Uni.

So let's hear it for the Christmas holidays, and all the beer that flows with it! :D

Classes ended last Wednesday, but I have all five of my finals this week (between the 8th and the 14th). That's actually a lot earlier than usual, the past two years I've been finished on the 20th and 21st.

This week (since it's 2 am Monday morning) is my last.

And then home to crappy wireless internet and computer.

Hey, Blue? I'm loving the things you do. From the very first time, the fight you fight for will always be mine.

Ah, see, I'm going home to a much faster and more reliable wireless connection than my flat. Also, free beer.

If you can't tell, I'm really looking forward to letting off some steam today. As much as I've enjoyed studying behavioural neuroscience, the pub is in my blood.

I have two finals tomorrow, and then I am done for the semester. Spring semester starts January 14th, which is pretty late. Usually we start a week before that.

1 final for the next 4 days, but I'm working part time through the 31st in the afternoons.

I've only got three finals to take before Winter Break. Two are on Wednesday, and the last is Friday.

One more week left. Deadlines have been kicking my backside: long term deadlines have been impacted by short term course-works with finishing dates at the same time. I pulled a 30 hour work day on Thursday-Friday in order to get a group design project completed. I was blessed with group members who (along with other inadequacies) didn't know how to properly assemble anything in the CAD software we use. The outcome of which is that their parts would spontaneously explode from time to time while building the general assembly :argh:.
Then just three weeks for Christmas and it's exam time.
I don't get to relax until 17th January. Enjoy your christmas everyone!

I thought you were talking about Christmas shopping. So no, I'm not finished. :P

Heh, I feel your pain, although to an obvious lesser extent. What year/course are you in? I'm a 2nd year Psychology student, and the second research report we had to do this semester was a group assignment. We weren't allowed to choose our own groups to "better simulate real life in the work place", so I got stuck with one girl who's eager but lives outside the city (and so makes it hard to meet up with her), one guy who has a horrible work ethic (I'm lazy, but I do what needs to be done, when it needs to be done for), and two girls who weren't really clued up on what was required of them. Made the whole process more complicated than it should have been, really.

And no, I'm not done Christmas shopping either. Although I've taken care of the secret Santa gift for my flat, and bought for my brother and Dad, I still need to head into the centre of town and pick up a gift for my mum. I know what she wants though, which should make it a lot easier!

I'll be doing 10 hours days until the christmas eve, then i have two days free, and after that, work calls again. I have a cabin reserved during 26.2-1.3 in lapland, though. Middle of a skiing center. That's when i'll have my vacation :)

I almost envy you, I have a lack of money to play with.

Also I only got 2 hours of sleep last night and I have a long night of sanding and staining wood ahead of me.
nope.
