How about Toads from Super Mario Bros.? Or Kirby-people. Or sentient mist-clouds? More likely, I'd just try and make the most random, violent thing I could try, like I do with any Sim-[whatever] game.

In Neal Stephenson's novel Snow Crash, people could create their own avatars for use in the Metaverse (which is what inspired Active Worlds and Second Life, if you don't know already), and he describes how numerous people use a giant walking penis as an avatar.
