Weird computer issue

I was using Limewire to download some (totally legal) dramas, and have about 8/12 episodes. My problem is, I left it running overnight and when I got up this morning I saw that Limewire thought they were all complete.
Here's the weird thing, though. If I go to the folder where I was saving these files, only eight of them show up. The four I downloaded last night are nowhere to be found. (I even searched my computer for their file names.)

If I use Limewire to open the files, it opens up Windows Media Player and the shows I supposedly finished downloading are there and play fine. If I try to drag them onto my desktop, I get an error message telling me that the file can not be located.

Could it have something to do with the fact that they're torrents? I dunno. This seems really weird to me. I restarted my computer, but that hasn't changed anything. As far as I can tell, there aren't any hidden files, either.

If they play in WMP they're not torrents.

It has something to do with the fact that you're using limewire. Ditch that POS before your computer melts.
