Assassinated today. One of the first women ever elected to a position of power in an Islamic country. Former Prime Minister of Pakistan and then the Leader of the Opposition.

She came to speak at my school last year - she was definitely an incredible woman

Also a pretty corrupt politician, but I suppose that can be said of most politicians.

It will be interesting to see what happens to Pakistan in the near term. However, I do not expect any massive changes to occur.
