Someone shot a delivery man from my favorite chinese place. And you're like "OMG NO ONE CARES ON INTERNET."

But really.

This is really lame. It's a little family owned places, and I've been ordering from then for like 7+ years. They've always been here in under a half hour, the food has always been hot, the food has always been good, and most importantly they have never screwed up an order.

The drivers (There are only like two) are always polite, and we always tip them very generously.

I can't think of a group of harder working immigrants.

This whole area is going down the ****ter and everyone is just letting it happen. It's really getting sad.

I'm going to order an assload of food on saturday and send a card back with my delivery man.

Probably the guy who shot him was some fool who posted on a message board a while ago saying something like "I want to shoot people part 1" because he felt he had a legitimate grievance.

That said, it DOES suck that anyone was shot. He's in stable condition, I assume? Alive, at least?

That's terrible. At least he didn't get killed. My roommate delivered pizzas for a few months, but quit after a string of local robberies.

That sucks..but at least he's still alive!

When I worked at the evil pizza empire a few years ago. One of the delivery men was abducted on a delivery, got robbed clean, then beaten a little.

Though, in this case, he had it coming.

I hope the Chinese place does well with being short handed. The saddest thing in the world is a sad Asian man.

That sucks. I hope he gets better. I worked pizza delivery for awhile. luckily i never got hassled. Maybe they should start handing out Kevlar vests to delivery people...

Can't seem to find a link to it, but I believe that the police eventually discovered that the pizza delivery guy was in on the robbery, but that he wasn't aware that it was a real explosive around his neck.
