I got one 4 days ago.

I also recieved RE4 and COD3.. I haven't played COD3 yet but RE4 is totally kick ***.

My question is: what games should I go buy and for what reasons?

I'm currently in the market for a wii. From what I've seen and heard, Super Mario Galaxy is supposed to be pretty kick ***. Also if you have friends over and stuff, the Wario Ware game is supposed to be pretty entertaining.

My friend got one this month, but I've only played Wii Sports with him - its pretty fun.

I've had mine for over a year now, I don't play it as much as I thought I would. I enjoyed the parts of Zelda: Twilight Princess that I played. I hate compilations of minigames, so that rules out like 80% of the titles on Wii (crapfest). I love Excite Truck, but you may want to just rent it, it's pretty short. Metroid is blah. I would sell my Wii but my stepson likes those minigame compilations so he will throw a fit if I do :(

Grab the Wii Zapper. For $20 its a pretty cool accessory and the game that comes with it is just really really fun.

If you plan on playing it with friends, get Mario Party 8 because its a great party game and the minigames are alot of fun, especially with the wiimote.

If you are into cool uses of the wiimote and some really random stuff, Wario Ware's Smooth Moves is a blast.

And I hear Super Mario Galaxy is lots of fun, so get that too.

I wonder if there is a type of Mario Kart for it that uses the Mii people (and able to split screen twice for four players), that would be fun. Hey, the Wii-Play games include like a cow racing game with the controller. It's pretty clever :v:

Zelda: Twilight Princess is good. I actually got quite attached to Midna, which I wasn't expecting, although I never got to finish the game because my brother had to sell his Wii a couple of weeks ago -_- I was on the last dungeon!

Wii Sports was also a blast, too. I loved tennis, and even grew to like baseball after I got used to the batting. Really satisfying.

Those are the only two games I got to play :(

I've heard that Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles is pretty good. It's a rail shooter, like House of the Dead and other such games. I'm going to pick it up sometime in the next few days.

I rented Umbrella Chronicles and I hated it. It takes like 90 bullets to kill a zombie. And the better guns are hardly stronger than the pistol... it might be fun with another player, but I didn't enjoy it much.

I got a few extra Mario Galaxies for Xmas (shouldnt have asked everyone for the same thing i guess) I'm selling them for $35 a piece (because gamestop only wants to give me 30 WTF) and I don't have original reciepts to return for money. I need cash to buy other stuff, not more games...

Twilight Princess (Just finished it today ... excellent-feeling ending),

Super Paper Mario, and

Mario Galaxy.

I got Mario Galaxy two days ago and was so addicted that after one (long) night of playing I had around 30 Stars. (It should be noted that each Star takes a considerably shorter time to get when compared to Super Mario 64)
