So I'm thinking of driving to New Hampshire for a week to help raise awareness about Ron Paul before that state's caucus. It seems like an adventure: exciting, but also a little bit scary? Does anyone here have experience with canvassing or other political activity that involves "winning hearts and minds" (e.g. talking with crazy strangers! :v:)? Is anybody from NH?

A narrow view it is to disregard a candidate on a single issue. Regardless, he wants to overturn Roe vs. Wade primarily because the abortion issue is too complicated for the federal government to handle. Abortion should legislated at the state level, where all facets can be examined and adjusted to the population's preferences as opposed to one monolithic answer for all states. Hence, some states will ban it entirely, allow it without question, and others will find a middle ground. He's also an OB/GYN so you should understand his moral position.
