Selling some used games
2008-01-02, 1:24 PM #1
Hey. I'm clearing out my old games collection, and I thought I'd check here to see if anyone wanted to buy some. I realize that they aren't worth hardly anything - some of these games are freeware, and I certainly don't expect to hock the entire collection, but somebody might be interested. *shrug* It's worth a try before I chuck them at any rate.

Silent Storm
C&C: TFD (DVD)
C&C Generals/ZH
Deus Ex
Deus Ex 2
Max Payne
Max Payne 2
Starlancer
X-Wing Collector's CD (DOS)
Easy Golf
SimIsle
UT
Jetfighter II: ATF
Tiger Woods PGA 2000
Fallout (No case)
Star Trek: Hidden Evil
C&C: Tiberian Sun
Elite Force
Trophy Bass 2
Freespace 2
Anachronox (broken case/no manual)
Mechwarrior 2 (2x)/Ghost Bear/Mercs (no case)
JO (broken case)
Yoda Stories
Freelancer
Tachyon: The Fringe
Starcraft/Brood War
GalCiv (broken case)
JK
Secret Weapons of the Luftwaffe
Fallout: Tactics
Master of Orion (no case)
Jagged Alliance 2 Gold/UB
Dune 2000 (no case)
Blade Runner
Operation Flashpoint/Red Hammer
Silent Storm
C&C: Renegade
Outcast
Jedi Academy
UFO: Aftermath
Morrowind (missing a CD)
C&C Gold (2x)
XvT/BoP (no case)

I have most of the manuals...I'd be asking $5 CDN + whatever it costs to mail them to you.

I have no idea where the fishing games came from.

Brian you're the one who got me into Anachronox and you still haven't finished it?

Haha, no I never finished it. Probably never will, but it was fun at the time ;) I never finished daikatana either because I got stuck at this one snowy mission where I had to find a bunch of these things and I couldn't.

You have the exact games that I was not looking for . :saddowns:

I was wanting SC: Chaos Theory, Star Wars Lego 1, and Republic Commando.

How much for Elite Force and Bladerunner? :psylon:
2008-01-02, 4:45 PM #10
$5 each + shipping. EF is one CD in the case with the manual while Bladerunner is one of those four-CD jewelcases with a liner-notes-style manual.

edit - Oh, and I also found that X-Wing/Tie Fighter thingy that runs in Windows with the XvT graphics.

I've been playing Anachronox lately. I, too, have never finished it before.

It is HILARIOUS. And it reminds me of Futurama.
I'm just a little boy.

Hmm, that sounds good, Yoshi. I won't say yes outright because I'm going to have to figure out what it'll cost to send this stuff to you. The Max Payne games are in DVD-sized cases while the other five are in regular jewel cases (Fallout just came in a random blank jewel case and Freelancer is in one of those cardboard sleeves. Oh, and Deus Ex is in some kind of weird cardboard jewelcase which is getting pretty tired by this point).

Actually, scratch that - right now I'm down manuals for DX and Max Payne (1), and I can't find the Generals' reference card (I have the ZH one, though). And you get the Fallout 2 manual with Fallout.

edit - I also found Rogue Squadron 3D, Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri and compilation CD of SimCity, SimFarm and SimEarth (these games have an ENORMOUS manual).

edit - and yes, Anachronox is sweet, although I think I'd rather watch the machinima than play through the whole thing again.

further edit - I should probably mention that I'd be mailing stuff from Toronto, Canada.

I'm going to be in Toronto on the weekend. I'm kind of tempted to buy one of these from you in person.

Well, not Toronto exactly. I'll be in Newmarket until Saturday and then I'm going back to my Etobicoke apartment. Newmarket is like 30 mins north of Toronto by car and Etobicoke is way the hell out in the west end (it's almost not Toronto anymore).

Maybe you knew that.

etok is not really that far from toronto at all, at least by car.
I live on etok/toronto border and I am practically downtown.

Is Morrowind still able to play with the missing CD? I might be interested in that.

Ahh, the days when games were sold in huge cardboard boxes :D

I don't think I'd ever be able to sell any of my games. Definitely couldn't part with my N64 collection (I know this for fact since a friend in High School made me a good offer for a few of them, and I still couldn't sell them).

Geb: All I have for Morrowind is the CD with the editor, so no, it doesn't work. That said, I'm positive it's in my house somewhere and I expect to find it. I also have the manual and the paper world map (though this is ripped in two pieces at the crease).

landfish: Um, are you serious?

FGR: No, it's the normal English version.

I think those cardboard "jewel cases" were a favorite of Eidos for a few years. My Deus Ex, Thief, Thief:Gold, and Thief 2 are all in those.

Ah, nevermind. UT2004 does too for that matter.

Well, if you find the other stuff required for me to be able to play Morrowind, let me know please. :)
