so we had to put down my dog today. I haven't had a rant in a long time, I thought I'd share.
we had our dog Jock for about 5 years, since he was 5 months old. He was a rescue dog, meaning we rescued him from a family that was about to put him down because he didn't have a home. He was just the sweetest and cutest thing, and so playful. However, once we got other animals, such as a cat and birds and cows, he got aggressive. several times, he's chased after the cows and tried to kill them, and he did kill one of the neighbor's chickens. but in the house, we was completely adorable and the sweetest thing ever. So today, since no foster home or anything would take him in, we had to have him put down. Only 6 years old, full of energy, and the sweetest dog ever. I hugged him as his last breath left his body and carried him home on my lap in the car. He's laying on a bale of hay in the barn until we give him a viking funeral in 2 days.![:(](../../smileys/frown.gif)
