If the moderator had a problem with the slur he'd hardly go repeating it, would he? Seems to me that he had a problem with someone suggesting that Jesus (a guy born in modern day Palestine) wasn't the white (frequently Aryan) guy we Europeans have been drawing for thousands of years.

Not necessarily. It's not the word that's bad, it's using it with the intent to offend that bad. I mean, a word is just a series of symbols, it's how you use it that's the problem.

Why were they arguing anyway? Isn't it obvious that Jesus was a jew?

If you have seen dogma you already knoe that "the big j" was black and god is a woman, dose it really matter what color jesus is or was? He is just a made up cahrecter to put in a book that people base their life on, right?

No, pretty much anyone who's knowledgeable on the subject, who isn't vehemently anti-Christian will agree there was a historical Jesus. What can be debated was his actions and spiritual significance.

There are numerous tax records encompassing Mary, Joseph and Jesus all.

But a black jew...it's kinda ironic that they're so unheard of today, when you think about it.
