I also hate you. Best Buys around here are sticking to the 4th [http://forums.massassi.net/html/frown.gif]

. But there is some word going around about a 1000$ fine per incident of copies sold before 8/03, so maybe it is good I dont have it early [http://forums.massassi.net/html/tongue.gif]

The fine is only imposed if id audits the particular best buy that sold the copies. Chances are they aren't going to do that, since every early copy actually makes them MORE money because best buy is giving them a full premium on each copy sold, but employees (namely myself) don't get a discount on DooM III until 2 weeks AFTER its full release.

Gah, I went into my local EB this morning and was told it hadn't arrived yet. Precisely 1 hour and 17 minutes later I got the call I had been waiting for and I'll be picking my copy up straight after class.

Something tells me that I won't be back for a few days.
