Your favorite CHEAP foods.
2008-01-09, 9:59 AM #1
All foods in this thread must be under $2.00 local currency.

Some of my favorites:

Jack in the box tacos, 2 for 99 cents
Ramen noodle or Maruchan soups... ~15-79cents
McDonalds double cheese burgers 99cents
Taco Bells 1/2lb beef combo burrito and the spicy chicken burrito... mmmm

Anyone else?

Those are 2 euros here...not that they're my favorite or anything.
Looks like we're not going down after all, so nevermind.

Yorkshire pudding: Flour, eggs and milk.

Spanish omelette: Eggs, spuds, some herbs and onions (and chorizo if I have any in the fridge)

Egg-Mayo and crispy bacon sandwiches (with lettuce, cucumber and a pinch of salt) from the shop across the road from my office (£1 and they're MASSIVE).

They wear gloves...usually.

But yeah, one dollar double cheeseburgers from McD's are definitely my favorite. That, or Wendy's dollar five peace nuggets.
2008-01-09, 1:12 PM #24
Sorry but 5 chicken nuggets is just not enough food for a dollar.

Whats REALLY outrageous is cheesesticks... anywhere you buy cheesesticks its like 3 sticks for 4 bucks... WTF... when I worked for chicken express back in highschool they bought a 5lb bag of cheese sticks for like 10 bucks. they make A KILLING on those things.

You've never had a Yorkshire pudding? They're genius. They're also made from the same stuff as pancakes.

BACON ROLLS!

There just so happens to be a building site across the road from my flat. Which equals food for the workies. Theres also a cafe down the hill.

Or you can make them yourself, because I can cook the best Bacon sandwich ever.
nope.

Bacon rolls?

I swear, if that is bacon covered in batter and then fried, I will NEVER, EVER eat another thing as long as I live. That has got to be the tastiest thing I've ever heard of.
I had a blog. It sucked.
