Ha, that's weird. Say what you will, but SC is one of the few fighters I enjoy. But I didn't bother with the third one, and won't this one. It's still the same game.

But if my calculations are correct, voldo should be uber gay looking by now.

That...looks amazing.

Also I wouldn't doubt it's real. Namco has the money to buy some high dollar names like Yoda and Darth Vader. I really could see it happen.

They just have to have a yoda costume that's a puppet and one that's cg :v:

Remember, SC 2 had gimmick characters based on the system you played it on, so this is fully believable to me.

It's very out of place compared to the SC2 console exclusive characters, but I don't mind. Hopefully the character creation is versatile enough that I can create Darth Maul and Luke Skywalker. By the way, the Vader and Yoda models are the best I ever seen to say the least.

I think its pretty balanced, no character is baddass (well they all are.) people are just badass are certain characters than others.

I couldn't do crap with most of the characters, but could own people with Cerventes and Taki (basically the same IMO)

That's the weird thing about most fighting games, how your baddass with certain characters naturally.

I mean that nightmare just naturally looked badass. One character I can say for sure was certainly not badass, and that would be raphael. That little p***y made me angry whenever my friend played him.

Oh forgot to mention, but I thought it was interesting how the exclusive characters match the consoles by their primary color.

He was so cheap. You could just do the lunge attack over and over and there was nothing the other person could do about it if you did it right. I would do that to piss people off. I love causing video game drama. People getting made over something meant to be fun amuses me.

People like that make me mad. Video games are meant to be fun, and the most entertaining features are meant to be used, like the grabs in soul caliber and haymakers in fight night 3. but what does this friend do? he ignores these moves entirely and only mashes a single combo over and over and over again, not giving time for the opponent to use some of the cooler moves on him. And then he complains when we do use them.

One of my friend's always used Raphael's lunge attack. I got pretty good at blocking and dodging thanks to that.

At first I'm like "Whoo, another generic ripoff of SC that will be just as balanced, but just as useless... wai... wait.... OMQ!?"

I did an entire studies paper on SC3 (Didn't pick it) and now I hate that game, despite being quite good at it. I lost my SC2 disk for PS2 :(

I never liked Yoda's lightsaber fights in the movies. I always picture Master Yoda as a brilliant, ever-powerful wielder of the force, not a spinny "cirque du soleil" clown-gnome with a lazerstick.

Well, I sure can't see myself buying a PS3 just for the good version of Soul Calibur 4 so I guess I'm going to pass on it.

It makes me feel better that every other game Namco/Team Soul Calibur game that they've hyped as "PROJECT ****" has been utter trash (especially Project MelFes), so I have doubt I'll be missing out. 10:1 odds on the PS3 and 360 versions of the game requiring a rotate of the control stick and block for guard impacting, and the Wii version requiring you to waggle the controller.

Yes, he is... Gah.. it's so hard to keep him as my favorite character when they keep making him wear less and less as the games go by.

Maybe she will use them as weapons this time. Ivy will has a throw where she whips her weapon around an opponent, pulls them in, and then makes the opponent suffocate between her breast. All the mean time she'll use that battle cry, "Strangle!"
