What kind of apples do you like? I'm a sucker for Fuji's! So firm, juicy, and delicioso! Perfect for munching-on-teh-go + pitching into a field Yanni Appleseed style. Hmm Mmmm Mmmm.

Pink Ladys are my favorite, but since they weren't on the poll, I had to go with Gala.

I'll second Silicon's post, but I chose Golden Delicious. Whoever chooses Granny Smith has no taste buds.

the delicious variety of apple are disgusting, both golden and red. they are soft, and have a horrible texture, and dont taste like much.

fresh winesaps, fuji, and granny smiths are my favorites.

I don't like the really waxy red ones, or the green ones with too little wax. Fujis/galas are about right.

I have always liked Golden Delicious. Red Delicious isn't nearly as good.

I don't remember what Fuji tastes like. I suppose I should buy a few to refresh my memories.

my parents generally will only buy fujis. The best apples I've had were from a random orchard on an island in the San Juans. I don't have a clue what sort they were.

Yes! Pink Lady's are a little more expensive than the others but damn they're worth it.

Fuji! Especially since I still them from work (Panera) for free all the time.

Pink ladies and Gala are amazing too. I'm a sucker for nearly every kind of apple except mealy red ones.

Fujis are my fave. Crisp and crunchy and not really sour like Granny Smiths.

We don't seem to get them year-round here, though (at the SuperCenter). When the Fujis disappear, I'll have to give Galas or Pink Ladies a try.

Really? All the ones I've eaten were sour. Could it have been some other green apple?

Today I bought a couple of Pink Lady apples. They weren't that impressive, other than the price which was certainly impressive... In a wrong manner. On monday or tuesday I'll go and buy some Fuji apples. If memory serves they are better. Though my memory of apples is quite... simplistic: Golden delicious apples (yummy), other apples (good), and green apples (sour'n'bitter).
