So get this… Last night I’m hanging with my friend John and Rachel when all of a sudden I get a call from my ex-girl friend. Now the situation between Megan and me is awkward at best. We still have feelings for each other but she just doesn’t want to be in anything committed right now so we are friends with benefits. I figured it’s the only way that I’ll be able to be with her in some way or and other.

So back to my story… I get a call from her and I pick up. (Forgot to mention she’s in Maine looking at colleges) But its not Megan at all its her friend Taylor. Taylor says Andrew there is a problem, have you drank with Megan before? Well I answer yes and I get this response. Well we went drinking up here and Megan has passed out and is on the floor… I don’t know what to do can you help me? Well at this point I am worried, I tell Taylor that if she wakes up to try and get her to throw up or something. She says she will try and call me later to tell me what happened.

So back to John and Rachel who are now feeling bad for me. We drive around RI with nothing better to do and I get the call. Taylor is there and says Megan is fine don’t worry about it. Well I ask what happened. She said she has her sitting up on the couch and she is fine. I say well make sure she doesn’t have anymore to drink… right away she’s like no ****! Then she says DID YOU CALL HER PARENTS? Cause we have a missed call from restricted and there is a voicemail. I say check the voicemail. She says I KNOW HOW TO CHECK A ****ING VOICEMAIL ITS LOCKED! Now this is starting to bother me, so I get off the phone with her and call Megan’s sister. Her sister has no idea what is going on but tells me that it is most likely a prank being pulled by Taylor just to get me upset.

So all night long I am trying to call Megan back to get a hold of Taylor but no response… then I get a call from Megan and its Megan this time and she sounds really out of it and starts yelling at me “why did you call my sister??” I deny it at first but then I finally admit it and the more and more it goes on she sounds more and more normal… NOT DRUNK AT ALL. So now I’m getting really pissed off and she keeps hanging up on me or “loosing service”. So this time its getting annoying she tells me that she was drunk passed out for 3 hours and now is fine that she slept the drunk ness off…. THAT’S RIGHT she slept it off… So I drive up to her parents house and sit in the development and I call Megan again and I say listen I want the truth and if you hang up on me…. Too late she hangs up… so I try to call her sister again and no answer… so I call the house and ask for her sister… this is around 11:30… I apologize to her mother but she seems to not care. As soon as her sister gets the phone she hangs up.

I get a call from Megan and she’s freaking out why did you call my house?? So I say listen if you hang up on me again I’m going to tell your parents now tell me the truth what the **** is going on? She starts balling her eyes out and freaking out saying WHAT? WHY? PLEASE DON’T!!! DRIVE AWAY FROM MY HOUSE NOW!!!! YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND YOUR GOING TO RUIN ME AND TAYLORS LIVES IF YOU TELL MY PARENTS!!! Still not telling me what is going on so I start getting really pissed and tell her that basically she ruined the night with my friends and that this isn’t something you joke about. She says if you leave my house then maybe ill tell you what’s going on… I say no and she freaks out and starts crying some more.

Finally she comes to and says that she didn’t drink that much and she went to bed cause she was tired from the trip to Maine that’s all. Well why did Taylor call me? Cause she thought you would be the best person to call cause of our past… This is sounding like complete bull to me and I’m still getting pissed off. My friend John the entire time is like dude tell her parents you don’t deserve this, this is bull **** dude tell her parents now. Megan looses service again and I call her back she’s their having a good time still at the party and laughing and stuff. She tells me she cant hear me cause the service sucks so she’s gonna go. John takes the phone and says we are 3 feet from your front door… she freaks out and john says I’m glad you could hear that and hangs up.

Now I want to know what you guys think of this situation.

Just a reminder she did not once throughout the night say I’m sorry or this was a misunderstanding

So basically you got a bunch of calls from your ex girlfriend and her drunk friends, and you somehow made a bigger deal out of it by trying to involve her family? Why did you care so much in the first place? You're however many miles away and there's probably nothing you could do anyway. Your buddies sound like they just wanted to see something happen.

You don't want to get caught up wit people like this. It's best to sever ties and move on. If you really do care about her, tell her parents. In the long run, it might help.
