I don't think I've ever bought a movie twice. I'm not old enough to have ever bought a VHS myself.

I bought Star Wars SE's on VHS but they were defective so I returned them back to the store pretty quick. Besides those... I don't think I've ever bought any movie twice.

Music, on the other hand...

Star Wars OT (VHS SE, DVD)
Star Wars PT (VHS, DVD)
Ghostbusters (VHS, DVD SE)
Ghostbusters 2 (VHS, DVD, DVD SE)
Batman (DVD, DVD SE)
Batman Returns (DVD, DVD SE)
League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (DVD 1-disc, DVD 2-disc)
King Kong (2-disc SE, Extended Edition DVD)

I leant my 2 disc edition of King Kong to a friend and the stupid ******* lost it or something. So now I have to buy that again. And instead of just owning up to it he tries to tell me he'd already returned it to me. What a jerk.

Too lazy to go through all my movies. I know I have two copies of ANH on VHS (bought one and then bought the trilogy), and then the SE trilogy on VHS, so three copies of ANH total. No Star Wars DVDs for me.

Monty Python and the Holy Grail (VHS > DVD)
Fellowship of the Ring (VHS > DVD)
Two Towers (VHS > DVD)

Maybe the Starwars Trilogy too, I can't recall.

Star Wars (VHS, DVD)
Pirates of the Carribean: Dead Man's Chest (DVD, Blu-Ray)

I figured I would complete the trilogy on Blu-Ray (only cost $9 technically so why not) since I received Curse of the Black Pearl for free and bought At World's End on Blu-ray.

I think I've only got the OT on VHS, but the PT on DVD. If that's the case, then I haven't gotten anything twice.

TOO many to say right now, all i can say is Krull form VHS to DVD.

BUT THEN!!

The Original Star wars movies on VHS and then remastered VHS and then spicial edition VHS and then the box set with them all on DVD and then on DVD again because the newer rereleased DVD had the original versions, before they ****ed up everything, like adding jango's voice over boba, in empire!! Ok **** that ****. I understand that thats how it would work seeing as how they are all clone's, but still, do not **** with the classic!!
