I want to turn on my computer, walk away, and come back to my desktop.

How can I do it. Currently I am getting asked for my user name and password, for which I just hit enter because I, Andy, have the only user account. Guest is turned off. I have no password. I don't like this. WinXP Pro.

uhh.. if there's only one account, it shouldn't ask you to log in.. you said no password?

Make sure Welcome screen is turned on?

(Open control panel, click User Accounts, click "Change the way users log on or off", make sure both options are checked.)

Beyond that, I don't know.
If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.

You're pretty slow if you can't exit a room in 15 seconds.

Something really slows down the XP loading in my system. Maybe the Wacom driver or a combination of the wacom driver and something. In any case, the computer just sits there at least half a minute doing nothing at all, no HD activity or anything, and then suddenly loads the rest of the drivers, virus scanner, and stuff. It's kind of annoying.

lassev, I can't say for sure but I seem to remember having that same problem when using my Wacom tablet. You should google around for solutions, and update your drivers.
