..but my truck is going in for frame repair (#&%^#* rust...:argh:), so I think I'll wait until I see how much money I'll have left..

Yes.

Get a pair of spare lenses to keep in your man purse. I know all you cops have one. When the first get scratched from clipping them on your collar like a douchebag, send them in. Oakley is pretty good about hooking up LE and mil. If you have extras you won't be squinting for three weeks or wearing "un-tacti-cool" shades.

Polarized lenses are a godsend. I have a pair of Oakley Whisker Titanium polarized. Best shades I have ever owned. I dropped them on the concrete once (right on the lense)... $90 for a replacement lens... ONE. Oh well, I live with the scratch. Still damn good shades.
