Thats a mighty small ark, mate. Its a problem. We'll have to call it early quantum state phenomenon. Only way to fit five thousand species of mammal on the same boat.

I always found the chub to be part of the sexiness personally, your general shape and cheeky grin make you very cute. however I totally understand you wanting to get in to shape and can't wait to see the new svelte Jep!

As for me, I definitely want to start studying again, I feel like my brain is turning into mush, and reading popular physics and economics isn't quite doing it. I looked in to doing a Masters but I think that might be a bit extreme, so I'm gonna do a few short courses (probably economics-based) and see how that goes.
I also want to start climbing again as I really miss it, luckily I've found some people at my new job who go to the same centre that I used to so I'm gonna go with them. And this year I will definitely do some outdoor climbing.
And, sometime in the next couple of months I will have enough money saved up to finally move out and be a real grown up, woo!

In all honesty, being fat isn't trully what's been bothering me so much as my health. No man wants to have his heart 'splode on him at 40 years old. Its been so on my fathers side for many generations. His uncle died at 35 years old of a heart attack. My dad had one at 40, though he is still alive. Damneable high cholesterol from hell.

I really really wish you the best. Are there any particular fields that you would like to study in, at this point?

Good luck on the climbing, I hear thats one heck of a fun sport when you are in shape to do it, so thats awesome that you found someone to go with.

And yea, moving out is good. Very very good.

Except when you have 10k car loans and a 2k on your credit card. *hissss*

XD

yeah, dying early = bad. no high colesterol for you!

I'm definitely thinking economics at the moment, but as I haven't studied it before, I'm hoping a short course or two will give me an idea of whether I want to go for a more formal qualification

10k in car loans? scary. though I have that much in student loans. in fact, I have £10,000 in student loans, so that would be $20,000

Yikes. I'm lucky not to have student loans. I payed for it all out of my own pocket. Of course it cost me around 10k which I'd saved up by working a whole year before going to studies.

Best of luck in economics! I believe that is what my cousin studied in, and he's been extremely successful so far.

heh heh heh...

Also: I didn't know you climbed, maeve! Do you do mostly high walling, or bouldering? We have a kick butt bouldering gym here on campus, and I've been going probably 4 times a week...

SO much fun.

I was going 2/3 times a week for about a year, but then with the new job I couldn't make it at the same time as everyone else, so stopped, but hopefully will get back in to it now

I was going here, where they've got all kinds of stuff
