Nooooooo! 6800 GT. Same price, better performance. Trust me on this one. If it were an X800 XT though...

6800 GT man!

It outperforms the X800 pro in every way, because in essence it's just an underclocked 6800 Ultra, and can be overclocked to those speeds. Trust me, the X800 pro < 6800 GT.

would probably have gone for the XT version myself but you still have yourself a card there that will not be troubled by any game for at least the next year or so.

my 9800p has yet to fail me on any game to date... however I expect doom3 and HL2 will stress it quite a bit... Painkiller made me run choppy when i got 20+ people in the screen with max everything at 1024.
