I WOULD ADVISE YOU IGNORE ANY OTHER PAST ADVISEMENTS, AND PLAY THIS GAME.

For a rough idea of the game, imagine Devil May Cry. Except the fourth game.

I won't have the time to buy it for my PS3 until the weekend comes. By the way, Circuity City is the best place to get it because of a $10 gift card upon purchase.

Thanks for mentioning that. I don't know if I should get it for the 360 or PS3. The PS3 has a download feature where it downloads the game and has faster load times. However, I can't talk on MSN IM through the ps3, and I like to do that.

Not much has changed, qhich is sad. This series definately isn't known for innovation, thats for sure.

It gets kind of boring after about 45 minutes.

The demo from the Xbox marketplace was not impressive. I bored of it not long after I began.

Yeah, I played the demo. Then I played the game and it's way better. The ten minute thing was just 10 minutes of the second level (the first being a tutorial), and that level was just for beginners. The puzzles, combo's, and enemies don't get interesting until the 3rd or 4th level.

Also, the demo had total lack of plot and stuff that's seen in the first level too :P

So far I love this game, but since I'm not fully into it (or advanced enough), it's kinda easier than the other DMC games, and I'm playing on Devil Hunter mode :\

I hope it get's harder. There's 20 levels in all, each being at a nice length of time to play.

I hear the game becomes much harder as you progress (difficulty was decreased due to people's reactions with Devil May Cry 3). As for innovation, Nero's gameplay style (Red Queen reving and Devil Bringer) is pretty new and innovative to the series. Meanwhile, Dante can now switch styles on the fly. I will admit though that games like this one and Ninja Gaiden aren't for everyone (especially the difficulty).

The only real drawback I heard about the game is that there's a lot of backtracking. Dante's stages and bosses are the exact same as Nero's apparently. Otherwise the game has been garnering positive reviews from critics.
