annular solar eclipse today

See topic title, but unfortunatly, the fullest eclipse will only be visible on the ocean near antarctica, and I will only be able to see about 10% coverage max, but I will still be going to (try, as it is quite cloudy at the moment) take some pictures.

It is still about five hours before it even starts, but I will try and post some pictures once I get them onto a computer.

to make this legal, post some pictures of some interesting natural phenonoma that you have taken.

Cloudy snowy rainy here, but it doesn't matter because it wont even be visible where i live. This is an animated map of the area that will be able to see it...mostly exclusive to Australia, New Zealand and Antarctica..

I had a quick look while I was outside playing touch. Didn't see any sign of the eclipse.

stupid clouds made it impossible to get a picture.

also, jedi neo, the reason that you wouldnt have seen it is that new zealand was nowhere near the point of maximum coverage.

Ahh... stupid news report made it sound like we'd see 47% covered or something. Should've known it would have been talked about earlier if it had been as good as that.
