I'm in New Scotland (Nova Scotia) right now. (I'm in a college dorm with a T1 line w00t. Because the dorm has 4 rooms a bathroom a living room and a kitchen..it's A LOT cheaper then a hotel and it's bigger

) So far it's real great, some relatives from France came, and I met a lot more. The official reunion is Thursday and Friday, right now is just history tours and museums and stuff. I guess there are 70 different Acadian families in Nova Scotia all having reunions right now. It's really cool to see my families last name all over the place. On specially marked beer caps, signs, museums, and my cousin wrote 5, 500 page books about my family's history. It's for sale all over Nova Scotia and he is personally selling copies everywhere. Our families history back to before the dak ages he has researched for basically his entire life. Now the books are out, (4 out of 5, the fifth is in editing). It's super cool, it feels like a weeks worth of events just for my family. It's really fun and interesting, and I guess on Thursday my uncle is revealing some never before seen technology, so I can type in my name and another person theirs it shows us a family tree of how we are related and where the tree meets. (It sounds simple, but there is a lot more to it, I'll post more thursday. Supposedly it's supposed to be real big because it's the most advanced geneology something-or-other out there.) So yeah, it's awesome. Banners, Acadian flags, stuff like that ALL over Nova Scotia. We've even met a few of the other 70 families around towns as we walked around. I've got TONS and TONS of pics, that I'll post once I get back, along with some in depth history and such about my family (I know most of you don't care, but for the history buffs out there....)
See you all Monday (or Sunday) Goodbye! So much to do and see!
