How does it reek of lame? I think it is awesome something like this can happen. That people can still organize to this degree and protest something.

I think the only reason this is vaguely interesting is because someone was able to whip up a group purely online to do something, worldwide no less. A functionally leaderless and amorphous group at that. There was no real point to this (there is a point against scientology, but I doubt the majority of the protesters even cared what they were protesting about), except to show that they could do something. The target they chose was interesting as well: highly visible and visibly disliked worldwide; a perfect choice for this experiment.

I used to have a gas mask alot like that one for working with aluminum.
