I just found this in my freezer. The tray was laying flat. Nothing was dripping on it. It appears that the ice cube grew a tentacle. If anyone can explain the physics behind this, I would be delighted... in the mean time, I shall start constructing a shrine to my new ice-cube god.

Ah. That explains it. I just recently installed a water filter, and filled this tray with filtered water (Cause, well, it's kinda dumb to have crappy ice melting into my nice filtered water)

Still incredibly cool.

Awsome, I'm glad you posted this.
This happened to me the other day, although the spike on mine was sharp enough to stab my thumb and draw blood.

Yes.. When I went to that site, I was totally viewing with the impression of it being ice cube porn.
