I've not heard of fifth third. I've been baking at Wells Fargo for eight years and haven't a single complaint. My parents have been banking with WF since the 70s, and they have no complaints either.

I have accounts with Scotiabank and RBC. You've likely not heard of them.

Yeah, I use President's Choice Financial (lulz, my bank is run by a grocery store). The actual banking is handled by CIBC. I went with them because I was tired of getting hit with $30 in monthly fees when I was at TD, and their savings accounts have a decent interest rate.

I have a Charter One account, who merged a few years ago with Citizen's Bank, and apparently the whole deal is owned by RBS now.

I had no complains until they merged with Citizen's Bank. They decked me with over $200 in overdraft fees for a total of about $25 in transactions. They are also not as friendly or helpful anymore. They don't stay open as late now. Charter One used to have all branches open until 7 PM. Can you believe that? There was even one in downtown Cleveland that was or is still open until 10 PM at night, with managers and everything.

I'm surprised that more people don't use Wachovia. Is it more of a southern thing?
