ebay is spying on my google chat (big pic)

i'm logged into ebay. i'm selling equipment for the manufacture of semiconductors. the little box at the bottom suggests other things i might be interested in according to my searches and what i'm selling. so the boxes are filled with industrial equipment.
this morning i logged in to see my sales and i'm chatting on google chat, in the browser mind you, not google talk, and we're chatting about lego star wars and super mario.
the little suggestion box at the bottom of my ebay sales page is full of wii suggestions! i have never searched for anything wii related, not even video game related, on ebay.
this cannot be coincidental.

Is that not just suggesting things other people buy often?

it could've been 1000 other popular things that people search for. and the fact it was wii specific, not just video games, makes it even more remote that it's coincidental.

Haha, well it is the only logical word combo on that page that could link it to anything nintendo.

yeah, that must be it, its not like a massive shortage of wiis at retial outlets has led to lots of people searching for them on eBay.

I think it's a coincidence. I was on eBay just yesterday and saw advertisements for wii and wii related things, and I've never searched for anything wii related either.
If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.
