Just watched Atlantis's "Midway". Best Atlantis episode in a while.

Indeed.

Btw, who were you rooting for in the Ronon vs. Teal'C "sparring" match? I was rooting for Teal'C, even though I figured they would call a draw.

Teal'C would win, hands down. Ronon is a pansy compared to him.

(did anyone else notice that people were using Canadian money to bet on the sparring match?)

I agree. Ronan is like a 10 year old kid with a temper. He's really rather a poor character, although they have improved him a lot.

Teyla is completely worthless. They should kill her off. Maybe have her die during childbirth.

Not exactly. Production for season 4 started last March. Shooting wrapped sometime in the summer. Also, only one member of the writing team is a member of the WGA. It was never in danger because of the strike.

Agreed, teyla is a waste of space. Although with Sam leaving after this season and Woolsey taking her spot, they need a female presence on the show. Jewel is great, but she's kind of a passive character and isn't around much.

Did anyone else see the promo for the next episode? Beckett's back! F*** Yeah!

Amanda's leaving the show because she was forced into the decision "either make Atlantis her top priority, or leave" and since she's working on her show Sanctuary she couldn't agree to making stargate the top priority at all times. So, she's gone to give Sanctuary all her time, and will be back for guest appearances on Atlantis.

Oh, and definately Teal'C It wasn't till Ronan took the surprise punches, after the match was called off by Carter, that he even took a hit.
