Am I the only american that thinks...

Well I can't say I read every post, but here goes.

I like Ron Paul because he 'promises' nothing really. Instead of promising to do hundreds of things he never will, he says what he wants to do and what we need to do.

The extreme thing I see about Obama is his big promise for healthcare. I just don't see that happening. The government preaches that year after year, election after election, and it doesnt happen. The healthcare seems to be one of his biggest campaigning subjects.

I still want to see social security 'fixed'... Though I doubt even that is possible. Our country is in a really crappy position and everyone keeps promising fixes but no one wants to admit the only way for us to do anything to help ourselves, is to stop TRYING to police the world, and realize our standard of living needs to come down a peg or two to conserve some resources. We're spending way more than we make and have for years and years... Any individual doesn't get to keep spending money they dont have... Why should a government be able to?

Are you kidding? Obama promises, but Paul says what we need to do?

You aren't just a little biased?

Perhaps, even still. I just don't see Ron Paul having a shot in hell at winning, nor do I see Obama (or Billary and kids) completing any of their campaigning promises.
