Right now, everyone is getting ready and is on the red carpet. They are showing the actresses in their dresses getting pictures taken. They just showed Jessica Alba with her melon stomach and discussed something about "if you're famous go to the right, if you're not go to the left."

I'm hoping for some unusual winners this year; perhaps Ellen Page will win something.

Aww man, Stewart started off with a lame joke. "This is the make up sex for the Writer's Strike"

and he just made a semitic joke.

Just curious.

I do not give a flying ****.

All this is nothing more than one massive collective ego stroking for Hollywood.

Yes I'm a little bitter right now.
Code to the left of him, code to the right of him, code in front of him compil'd and thundered. Programm'd at with shot and $SHELL. Boldly he typed and well. Into the jaws of C. Into the mouth of PERL. Debug'd the 0x258.

As long as There Will Be Blood and No Country For Old Men get their just honours, I'm happy. Stewart is doing pretty well too.

Wow, that's weird. I usually always put well. Guess I'm just a little off tonight. The dumbening of TV. Wait... dumbening isn't even a word...

Daniel Day-Lewis should win at everything.

And that's my thoughts on this years Academy Awards. >_>

Not bad. I got what I wanted in every category I cared about. Of course, not having seen several of the most-nominated films this year, there were only a couple of categories I had really strong opinions about. I'm happy with No Country For Old Men winning Best Picture despite having only seen Juno out of the other nominees, just because it's hard for me to imagine how a film could achieve a certain effect more perfectly than No Country did.

Mostly I'm excited about the Best Song win for "Falling Slowly." If it had lost out to one of the Disney songs (or worse, the one from August Rush) I'd have been pissed.

I'm just glad Atonement didn't win any of the biggies.

Hooray for Sweeney Todd getting Art Direction though :)

That's interesting, an ex-stripper/ex-phone sex operator (Diablo Cody) won the best original screenplay reward for Juno. If she can win one, maybe I'll have a chance some day too....

If you've seen Juno, then you know you definitely have a chance at winning an Oscar one day.

Juno was crap.

I don't want to judge before watching it, but did the movie seriously have lines like "*****et, Thailand!", "Honest to blog!", "Thundercats are a go!"?
