how do u get rid of pop ups and popup toolbars? please help which programs can i use?

Ad-aware 6 from www.lavasoft.de and also spybot search and destroy from www.download.com.

Ditch IE, switch to Firefox or Opera,

pretend to switch to Linux, or else some around here will make you...

Oh, and firefox you can get from www.mozilla.org and opera i think is at (funnily enough) www.opera.com

The google anti-popup toolbar works great for me, I haven't seen any popups in a long time. And get those two programs that Martyn suggested, they catch bad stuff that Norton misses and that the other misses.

Yeah, I use the Googlebar too, and I rarely get popups.

I use the IE popup blocker.
