Eww that flash video player needs to learn how to prebuffer. Also how to cache (if you play it again it REDOWNLOADS THE WHOLE THING).

Ugh the HD 1080 version from yahoo doesn't play properly on mplayer, but it plays better than it does in quicktime.

The 720 version from the official site works fine in mplayer though (sucks in quicktime).
