Well im about ready to get myself an 8800 GT and join everyone else, except i can't really figure out which one.

Overclocked..Super clocked...Superoverclocked...:suicide:
Then theres the different companies offering them:suicide:

So which one is the best bang for the buck?

You should just buy an x1300.

because you usually end up buying the most retarded garbage anyway, and this way we can all avoid having one of your threads spiral into 100 pages of people calling you stupid

I suggest super-overclocking your PC, imsoshort. Do it. Now.

The hotter your PC is getting just means you are doing it right.

Remember--anything under 100C just doesn't run well enough. Processors and GPUs are like engines--the hotter they get the more efficient they get.

When did everyone on this website become so crabby?

Even if they all say overclocked ect ect.. just check the core frequency and the rest of the specs. I went with XFX for both price and quality. I typically only buy cards manufactured by the chip manufacturer, but sometimes the cash isnt there for that.

I picked up a PALIT 8800GT a few days ago, I like it.

I'd suggest a Sapphire x1950 pro for <200$. Cheaper, and just as effective for non DX10 games.

Actually, that was my fault for not checking my own post. I meant for it to quote him being crabby to you.

You're still gonna get 30fps with DX10 on and all it's supposed to do is speed things up. Why do you want DX10?

Oh wait, to be cool, forgot it's TE we're talking about.
