Wow, that's more than reasonable. In fact I might be interested in the monitor, if I can get my 600$ over Spring break. I'll know by Wed. weather it will be possible. Failing that my Dad might jump on it.

i'm just scoping this out at the moment. if i can sell both easily i'll pick up a laptop next weekend, make some transfers of files etc. and then do the fresh install of xp.

i'd like to sell locally. i don't know what shipping would cost for the monitor and i don't have the original box.
