No.

And you do realize that it's a MMORPG so you'd have to pay monthly.

Maybe if you wait a bazillion years for a crappy SWGEmu server to crop up.
Hey, Blue? I'm loving the things you do. From the very first time, the fight you fight for will always be mine.

I never followed Galaxies to know if it was worth it or not. I wasn't aware it was a monthly cost game either. Thanks

Star Wars Galaxies isn't worth playing if they pay you to play it.

Its not really.... The top level heroics are fun but it takes a while to get there.

Ten dollars says smugglers still can't smuggle anything.

An issue that was brought up during Beta III.

In 2002.

Indeed. The download itself is free.

FYI, you can get a 14-day free trial just by signing up on the website somewhere... google around and you should find it easily. There are some restrictions (you can't go above level 25, and some features of the game are locked out) but it's enough to give you an idea what the game is like.

Don't even bother, That game may be more interesting once you get further but what it takes to get there isn't worth it. Also after about five minutes it gets boring. :suicide:

It used to be interesting at least. Now, it's just a WoW clone. Not worth it.

They're making a pre-CU server emulator.

They stopped releasing it though because others kept stealing their codez

Still not enough to make me want to play again.

The only thing I ever wanted out of a starwars MMO was the ability to round up about 100 high level characters and take over a star destroyer, so that we might rape and pillage over everything and everyone.

I was playing the trial, and they released an update with a Star Destroyer dungeon level thing. For paying members only, of course.

SWG was horrible, not only as a game set in SW, but as a game period.

yeah, I played the trial and I got a tie-fighter and flew through space and thought, "Wow, I'm playing Freelancer with the Freeworlds mod.... and its not as fun."
obviously you've never been able to harness the power of cleavage...
