It's been a while since I've been here, but that's because summer vacation has taken me places.
I am the guy with the case of a brain tumor, classified as a Grade 3 tumor. My first round was the fight with radiation treatments, lasting several weeks, and losing hair in my eyebrows and in various places on my head. Nothing spectacular. Even in terms of side effects, nothing really happened. Which was good of course.
Intermission - I was scheduled for another MRI scan, which I had done, and the results from it were awesome news to hear, especially in a good way. The tumor was getting smaller - about the size of a couple of peas of a pod. I even got to see the MRI scan as well.
But, my team of doctors still wanted to beat it even more, which was what I was thinking too. Let's take this sucker, and really give it a beating. So, today I start round 2. Chemotherapy. A word that usually strikes terror to some. Not in my case apparently. My chemo treatment is supposedly very mild, meaning no hair loss, memory loss, sickness, and maximum effect on the tumor. This drug is also supposedly VERY effective against my type of tumor. Cool, eh?
So that's where I stand in my fight against cancer, and I'd just thought I'd let all of you guys know.
Cheers, and I'll be back.....

I am a nobody, and nobody is perfect; therefore, I am perfect.
Everyday I beat my own previous record for number of consecutive days I've stayed alive.
