Is there any place for me?
2008-03-05, 10:38 PM #1
Today I was just thinking about my past, things which I have done- sometimes good, bad and many a times weird, but I don’t regret them at all because those days were rocking, stoned immaculate type not in drugs but in life, cherishing the moments of relationship that I have shared with people, really those days were the golden days and they wont come back. I am not a story writer or something like that but I have written a short para on what I just said. I need to place this on the net where I can view what the world thinks about the symphony of life. Please suggest me a meeting place to make this happen.

You know, this response would have been comical coming from anyone, but it's hilarious in a completely different way when TheCarpKing does it.

I'm more wondering which regular member this is posting anonymously... bots typically bother linking us to things...

Found another. Notice the second reply to each is the same? The advertisement happens in the reply. We're only seeing the first half of it.

Yeah, this just happened on the ISB. Sadly, if this had been an actual person, I think I would be interested in what they're advertising, but now I don't want to be a part of it, having known about this tactic.

I don’t know whether you are interested in writing a story or a biography, but the way you say I can only think of a place that has many amateur writers having their say and also it is an open community to encourage people to write their stuff in the form of a story and place them in a competition which will get ranking by their e-pals. This is a great one of a kind place for newbie to get rocking and hitting on the path of a great journey to a good story.

You could start by sacrificing some of the theatricality for readability. It won't be much of a loss.

Well, what you say is all the way correct. There are a lot of places that seem to be lightened from far but are deserted when we reach there. There are many thoughts like these on which I am also interested. But if you would like to place them in the form of a story then I would suggest you a place on which I recently stumbled and it took me by surprise. There is an endofthisworld.com interactive stories session going on in which you can add your stuff and also view the thoughts of human race on their experience in life in the form of a story. This will really make you feel worth of your time and just by looking at the stories you will feel that you have landed on the right place.

You should go to the site they're spamming and use the same tactic to get them on the ISB... :hist101:
