I've only fired a CZ75 but that one handled very well I think.

before you get your C&R check local dealers and their transfer fees then think if you'll be buying enough C&R guns in the next 3 years from online dealers (as well as online auctions at gunbroker or auctionarms) to more than cover the $30

transfer fees here range from $10 to $20 per firearm depending on the dealer

and as for the bound book a commonly used option is this page (print both sides of the paper) in a standard 3 ring binder and you need to record ALL C&R purchases made after recieving the C&R this includes guns purchased locally from a licensed dealer, a purchase made at a gunshow, a face to face sale from an individual

in just the first year of having mine i saved myself $160-320 in transfer fees
